On the cusp of the long awaited 2021 CFL season, Scott and Greg sat down for a lengthy conversation with Canadian football legend, two time Grey Cup champion, author, hall of famer and all around great guy, Matt Dunigan. We talk about his long and storied career, his first years in Edmonton, his time in Toronto, and the challenges facing the league. Additionally, he regaled us with his story of the fajita incident with Bruce McNall.

After our talk with Matt, we could not help but wonder "what if" Matt had made it to the NFL? Looking back we know it was a misfire for the NFL as Matt, because of his size, went undrafted, and thus made his way to Canada where he became a star and rewrote the record books. Considering that he grew up in Dallas and was naturally a fan of the Cowboys, in hindsight we could see him taking over from Danny White and perhaps being the franchise quarterback instead of Troy Aikman. Perhaps he did though, somewhere on an alternate Earth.
